Ocean Finance is a loan, credit card and mortgage business set up in 1991 in Staffordshire, United Kingdom.
The firm prospered on the back of rising house prices and the credit boom. By 2002 the firm was a leading player in the UK's secured loan market valued at over £14bn.
CredAbility is a credit brokerage app, not a lender. CredAbility provides monthly credit scores and insights.
The new "Shield" component of the app is a overview of how your personal details have been involved in public breaches. It provides guidance, visibility, and interactivity
over breach data sourced from HaveIBeenPwned.

Employment Overview

My time at Ocean finance mostly featured back-end development on AWS (Lambda, EventBridge) for the "Shield" feature of the CredAbility mobile app.

I was also involved in a lot of legacy work trying to extend and migrate out of OutSystems based technology (various systems which consumed API's such as Equifax, and other financial data).
